Your Private Villa
Moon Hill is a unique oasis of seclusion, escape and serenity that is located on 2.5 acres at the foot of a rainforest, on the eastern side of the island of Nevis. The property is accessed though a private gate and is situated at the top of a hill.
The one storey villa has a 40' covered veranda with an open terrace for sunbathing, enjoying morning coffee and listening to the many birds and wildlife. From the balcony enjoy the unobstructed and magnificent ocean view with Antigua, Barbuda (on a clear day), Montserrat, and Guadeloupe at a distance. From the rear you'll be captivated by the spectacular views of Mt. Nevis - a mountain which rises to over 3,000 feet, covered in a lush tropical rainforest.
Enjoy the salt water pool with views of Mt. Nevis followed by a fresh and tasty lunch by your own cook in the covered gazebo.
The Bedrooms
From the living room, there is a small hallway leading to the two bedrooms that can accommodate up to four people. All of the beds include cotton bedding and organic mattresses so you should have no concern about allergies or any off-gassing.
There is one bathroom with a shower and tub from which you will have views of the mountain while showering.

The master bedroom has a King sized bed that can also be converted to accommodate two twin beds, with mountain view.
Bedroom #2
Queen sized bed that has been carved from purple heart wood found in Brazil, with a pool view.
Personal Chef
Moon Hill is the only villa for rent on Nevis which provides a cook to prepare your meals. For the last 20 years, we had the absolute gift of having Tessy look after the villa and its every need. We consider her family and we have extended her service for guests that stay at our villa. Tessie will prepare you lunch, dinner and housekeeping three times per week.
Lunch is usually served in the gazebo outside by the pool and dinner is prepared for you to eat at your leisure at night (all you have to do is put it in the oven to warm). If you want to just eat at the villa and never leave, as some people do, you will find that the days pass quickly just sitting by the pool and watching the weather approach from hundreds of miles away across the Caribbean Sea. Alternatively, Nevis has some of the best Chefs and restaurants that you will arguably find anywhere in the world – it is truly a foodie paradise.
Pristine Beaches
A beach for all seasons. Whether you are looking for gentle waves on a beach that you can walk along for an hour or bigger waves for body surfing there is something for every taste, all within a very quick drive from each other and the villa. Every beach feels like your very own slice of unspoiled paradise!
Most days you will have the entire beach to yourself with the occasional sighting of hermit crabs, pelicans and egrets.
Pinney’s Beach: The longest beach on the island is home to the exclusive Four Seasons Resort, beach bars and Sunshine’s Bar for the infamous killer bee rum punch.
Nisbet Beach: This mile-long white sand beach has coconut trees slanting, creating the perfect picture of the quintessential Caribbean beach.
Oualie Beach: The water sports headquarters of Nevis, perfect for families and active travellers. Oualie Beach Resort serves tasty food and drinks.
Lover’s Beach: private and serene. View of St. Kitts.
Windward Beach: An Atlantic beach that is great for body-surfing and long walks.

One of our best vacations ever!
We had a ten-day stay. From arrival to departure, the property, ambience, location and amenities were to die for. Another special plug for this incredible property is that it came with the services of a cook three days a week. That value alone, was priceless, as it allowed us to settle in and focus on adventure, relaxation and renewal. The property is located on a large piece of land that allowed for near total privacy. It had several spots with beautiful mature trees for writing and meditation. Our one regret was wishing we had brought a hammock. We had many days of watching the sunrise over the Caribbean sea and the sunset over Mt. Nevis. Nature and its beauty could be viewed and experienced from the two bedrooms, living/ dining room, kitchen, bathtub and incredible pool, veranda and gazebo. The property manager Jonathan was amazing and generous. He had a zoom call with us prior to our trip and answered all emails promptly. He provided great local suggestions that made for one of our best vacations ever. The cook Tessy cooked up the storm and nurtured our beings with eye catching, nutritious and fresh meals. It was hard to leave Nevis and this property fondly known as Moon Hill. As the saying on the metal gate says - Carpe Diem (Cease the moment), we are planning to cease the moment and return in 2024.
